2012 Southeast Chemistry Chairs
Conference
The 2012 Southeast Chemistry
Chairs Conference will be held March 1-3 in New Orleans. The conference
hotel is the
Chateau
French Quarter.
The meeting will begin with a reception on Thursday evening. On Friday
morning, a charter bus will transport all attendees to the Department of
Chemistry at the University of New Orleans. The meeting will be held on
the UNO campus during the day on Friday. Upon the conclusion of
Friday's meetings, a charter bus will transport all participants back to the
hotel. After a short period of free time, a group dinner will be held at
the
Palace Cafe
which is a short walk from the hotel. On
Saturday morning, the meeting will resume utilizing meeting rooms at the
hotel. The meeting will conclude at noon on Saturday.
The registration fee for the
meeting is $150 per person and includes:
á Thursday Evening Reception
á Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on Friday
á Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday
á Transportation on Friday Between the Hotel and the
University of New Orleans
á Access to All Meeting Sessions
Guest registration is $75 per
person and includes:
á Thursday Evening Reception
á Dinner on Friday
All department chairs of PhD
granting programs in the Southeast should complete the annual department
survey (template available at the link below) by February 15 and return
the survey to chemistry@uno.edu.
