A postdoctoral research fellowship is available immediately in the research laboratory of Prof. Zeev Rosenzweig in our department. The US National Science Foundation (NSF) funds the position. The research project is in the field of bioanalytical chemistry. It aims to develop luminescence nanosensors for single cell measurements. Qualified candidates for this position should have a PhD degree in bioanalytical chemistry or biochemistry. Experience in handling biochemicals, like enzymes and antibodies, is required. Experience in the conjugation of biomolecules to solid state supports and/or in cellular biological techniques is strongly desirable. The position is available for one year and could be extended for another year upon mutual agreement.
