Application Procedure

To apply to the graduate program in Chemistry, please do as follows: 1. Have three or more letters of reference sent to the Graduate Selections Committee, Department of Chemistry, University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA 70148-2820, USA 2. Send a statement of purpose, which explains your interest in graduate school and the area of chemistry you are interested in, to the same address as above. Please indicate if you are undecided. 3. Visit http://admissions.uno.edu/instruct.cfm, read the instructions, and complete your graduate application from the link near the bottom of the page. Please note GRE (Graduate Record Exam, www.ets.org/gre) scores will be required, as will TOEFL scores if you are from a non-English speaking country. For Fall semester start dates, applications should be recieved by February 15, though applications received later may be considered if possitions are still available. If positions are available, Spring semester start dates may also be considered. Applications for the Spring semester should be received by May 20, though applications received during the summer may be considered if positions are available.
